    “Boy!” Effie calls from the living room, “Can you come down here real quick?”

    James is the first one down, followed closely by Regulus. They have to wait for a while for Sirius to come down from whatever he was doing. The scene that greets each of them is daunting, Effie is sitting on the couch with a tense smile on her face and Monty is leaning against the wall nearby and has two fingers pressed against his temples.

    “What’s wrong, mum?” James asks, moving to sit down next to her,

    “I just got off the phone with Marckus…” She sighs, “He’s decided to surprise us and is getting on a flight to come here as we speak.”

    James' homophobic uncle is coming over for a couple days unexpectedly and he, Regulus, and Sirius have to be the perfect example of totally straight boys in order to scrape by.
