Summary
Evan liked kissing, which was great because he was really good at it, as sincere with his lips as he was when he was talking. Tommy relaxed under the weight of his body, closing his eyes and letting the sensation of his boyfriend’s tongue and teeth and breath and heat carry him out of his head. If that was all he wanted to do for the entire rest of the night, Tommy wouldn’t complain at all. Evan could do whatever he wanted, have anything he wanted, ask absolutely anything of him and Tommy would do it without hesitation.

Summary
So he shouldn’t panic. Just because he could feel the drag of each hour bringing him closer to the inevitable didn’t actually mean there was anything inevitable about his relationship with Evan. But every time he played the movie through, he could only imagine one ending, and it wasn’t the ending he wanted but it was the only one he’d ever known. Having a crush on an acquaintance was easy; being infatuated with a new love interest was fun; dating long enough to learn somebody’s quirks and their dislikes and their phobias and their bad dreams was something special. But falling? Well, his training didn’t want to let him do that, and if he ignored his honed instincts and let himself fall anyway, what chance did he have to survive?
