Summary
After the mission to the hidden spring, Kakashi realizes the kids under his care have been greatly neglected by the village and the leaders who swore to protect the most vulnerable of the village. With this new knowledge, Kakashi takes (steals) the new team 7 out of the village and now must figure out how to raise three genin while on the run.

Summary
The Cursed Seal of Heaven has a very specific purpose—to heighten and aggravate emotions and physical strength. After all, a man obsessed is a man easily manipulated.
And there is no one more obsessive than Sasuke Uchiha.
Orochimaru is counting on the seal to amplify Sasuke’s need for vengeance and power until he comes crawling to Orochimaru on his own, thirsting for the knowledge to defeat his brother.
What Orochimaru didn’t count on, was that Sasuke Uchiha had become just as obsessed with mother-henning his own teammates.

Summary
The commission had always threatened to clip his wings. The thought terrified him. To clip a bird's wings, despite popular belief, doesn’t actually mean to cut them off; it’s just cutting the tips off the flight feathers, they grow back and for birds it’s usually painless. This, Hawks knows. Hawks also knows that when the commission says it that way, they DO mean slicing his wings clean off his back. But they never have, and besides threats have shown no intent to actually do so.
Hawks came to see it as an empty threat. Today, he’s enlightened to the fact that it may not be out of the realm of possibility, and none of the commission's threats are ever truly empty.

Or, the commission gets tired of cutting back Hawks talons, and also happen to need a good punishment; they declaw him.
