Summary
To Jim, Spock was acting like it was Christmas. It was kind of adorable. Not that he had thoughts like that about his first officer often. Nope. Never. Well, more accurately he wouldn’t let himself. Spock was a Vulcan and would probably find the whole thing ‘highly illogical.’ So Jim preferred to keep thoughts like that out of his mind. To be honest, it didn’t really work. Sometimes he couldn’t help it. His mind would wander to thoughts of his perfect prick of a first officer and his stupid, perfect face more than he would prefer.
Jim had issues. He knew it, he was at least self-aware.
What Jim did not know, was that a group of locals were about to feel threatened and come charging out, trying to murder Spock while Jim had his back turned.
