A wonderfully created slow burn, and adorable couple (Radiobelle) moments.
I love how the author writes Radiobelle's relationship, a truly loving partnership. Alastor is written as such a fun and dynamic character in this. He has so much more depth to him than in canon. The same applies to Charlie.

New things are what he notices: the heavy set of clothes she wears when they’re traveling the plains of Kanto, how she weaves her hair and secures it tightly under her kasa and tips it just so her face is covered enough, or the way she schools her face, squares her shoulders and makes it a point to never stand too close to anyone she talks to. The cadence in her speech, her word choice. How quickly she disarms anyone of their sword, how quickly she makes a fool out of anyone’s self absorption.
