“Are you busy?” He asked earlier tonight, standing in Sizhui’s doorway totally unannounced.
“I have dinner with Baba and A’Die in an hour,” Sizhui had said, stepping aside to let him in.
“Perfect! Just enough time,” Jingyi grinned, closing the door behind him and pulling a silencing talisman off the inconspicuous stack Sizhui keeps for exactly these situations.
Now they’re in bed, Jingyi stripped entirely out of his robes and Sizhui down to his first rucked-up layer, the bedsheets a mess underneath their bodies.
