Summary
It’s a book. A worn-down hardback, Urakusai's Chronicles of the Six Kitsune: I written on the cover in gold print that glints back against the firelight.
“Hah. And to think that everyone seems to be so convinced of the Mighty Traveler’s invincibility,” a vaguely familiar voice says from somewhere in the dark street behind him when Aether moves to pick up the book. He drops it when the person speaks, sparing half a mind to Paimon’s startled coughing as she flees behind him, and turns to face the direction of the voice.
“Had it been a dagger instead of a book, you’d be dead right now,” it continues with no small amount of derisiveness, and Aether recognizes the speaker a split second before the figure steps out of the shadows.
He looks uninterested, at ease even as he leisurely makes his way towards the table like an old friend, and Aether doesn’t trust him an inch.

“So they’re coming back to New York?” Peter asks, and Tony gives him a look.
“We’ll see,” he says, pulls an old-looking flip phone out of his pocket and tosses it in the air a couple times before setting it on the table.
“The government doesn’t know where they are because they’re amateurs, so they can’t summon them. I haven’t kept tabs on them, but if I were them I’d probably go to Wakanda, and Cap’s not a complete idiot, so either they’re in Wakanda or they’ve at least visited at some point. The public announcement of the pardon will probably be today on the evening news, but it was put on record in the government about half an hour ago, which means by now T’Challa has probably found out about it. And if he knows, I think it’s rather safe to assume he’d contact Cap and Friends, which means this absolute disgrace to technology should start ringing somewhere around real soon because I’m definitely petty enough not to call him first-”
The phone on the table starts ringing. Tony flashes Peter a grin at the boy’s amazed expression.
OR Tony gets Rogue Avengers pardoned, and a lot of this is from Peter's point of view because this is taking a toll on Tony

Summary
“All this cold-blooded betrayal,” Tony grumbles, and Peter shoots him a gleeful look, “makes me want to get a goddamn drink.”
“But you’re not going to do that,” Pepper says with a content smile, and Tony gives a yielding sigh.
“But I’m not going to do that,” he agrees.
“Oh? No?” Peter repeats, and stares between the two of them questioningly. Tony had long ago gotten past the alcoholism problem, but that didn’t mean he didn’t still drink. Reasonably, of course, but he did.
Except, now that Peter thought about it, he couldn’t quite remember seeing Tony have a drink at all recently.
Tony and Pepper exchange a look that Peter can’t quite read. Then Pepper gives him a small shrug, her smile saying well, go on. Tony clears his throat.

Summary
“Help!” the kid cried, and Peter thought he couldn't have been more than 17.
But now he had to choose, and in a split second Peter did, heart aching.
“Hold on,” he gasped half to the hanging boy (who couldn’t have possibly heard him), half to himself as he made his way to the mother and child in seconds, struggling to catch the roof panel before it could crush them.
Just a second-
Peter's blood froze as the boy's grip slipped and a guttural scream cut through his ears.
