It’s bizarre how warm death feels. They’d always heard that it felt cold, the blood in your body seizing activity and leaving you frozen, like death herself were giving you frostbite. They didn’t feel that. There was no freezing bite, or light flaring ahead, welcoming. It was warm, like a hug embracing their entire form, felt like they were floating in an abyss of darkness. They felt whole, filled to the brim with the blackness surrounding them, sucking it in like oxygen.

Summary
I came up with the name on the spot because I didn’t think I was gonna post it.
Essentially the world has split between Hybrids and Humans after years of war and have finally come to peace but humans are never comfortable unless they’re at the top of the food chain. After years of experiments they’ve finally found a way to get back on top the only problem is that their solution comes in the form of children.
Tommy is 12 years old when the scouts take him in for training, ripping him away from his brother and into the shadows. What lies within the sterile white walls of the military facility might just paint the world in red.
This is a corrupt military/war au so there will be violence and death but hopefully not too much because it’s really awkward writing it.

A Stranger Things au.
“Dad?!” Tubbo cries. No response. “Motherfuck- DAD?! SCHLATT!” He storms through the house searching for any signs of his father but no room proves to hold his father’s drunken form.
The lights flicker around him, buzzing to life even if he hasn’t touched them and a panicked whine burns in his throat as he tries to back away even though it feels like he’s surrounded. Backing into a wall, he accidentally knocks into the phone. He sighs in relief and grabs it off its perch, dials in the police stations phone number. The phone rings once and is picked up, chittering growl persevering past the static of the receiver, a flicker of it appearing in his living room. His hands shake so hard he drops the phone and before he can grab it, the monster flickers back into existence again, ever so closer and there.

Unlike them, he was wearing a black suit, a loosely knotted blue tie, tall and thin, his reddish hair shooting out in all directions, and talking a mile a second while gesturing wildly in the air.
Pixal's eyes widened in shock as she recognized him. It couldn't be.
“Sorry those idiots bothered you, I hope you haven’t said anything to them until now. I for one was never a fan of the demolition crew, always so eager to burn any trash they find”, he gave her a wry smile while chuckling with a cocky air. “You’re lucky I stopped them.”
“What?” she stammered, her harsh words almost seeming to echo around the room. “J-Jay?”
“I am Agent Jay Walker, manager of the Department of Reassignment. And I regret to inform you, that by the all- encompassing authority of the Administration, you have been detained as illegal equipment until further notice.”

Summary
Written before Crystalised, set after Seabound.
Jay and Kai in particular are not coping with Nya's loss, and strange storms are ravaging Ninjago. Will the team manage to hold together, or crumble apart in the presence of a new threat?
Lots of call backs to earlier seasons. Focus is not on OCs or shipping. Written in the style of the TV show with the focus on action and dialogue. Jay and Kai are the focus characters, however there is still plenty for the other Ninja to do.

Summary
What if Jay developed asthma after having seawater in his lungs for so long?
After the end of seabound, Jay is dealing with a trifecta of issues; grief from losing Nya, PTSD from almost drowning, and a new medical diagnosis which he is doing his best to ignore. It doesn’t help that his asthma episodes and emotional spiraling form a feedback loop, making everything worse. His friends are all dealing with their own issues, but at some point Jay needs to admit, he just can’t do this alone.This was supposed to be a “5 times Jay hid an asthma attack and one time he couldn’t” type format, but I got a bit carried away and now it is a stupidly long deep dive filling the gap between Seabound and Crystalised. Mostly canon compliant, with Jay being the main exemption. Given that at the start of Crystalised the team is still fractured and miserable, the ending doesn't resolve everything, but it is still somewhat positive. Lots of angst, comfort, and Jay gasping for air.
