Summary
"Why didn't you tell me?" Luffy asks, managing to sound both accusing and deeply hurt. "I'm your Captain. I need to know these things. Or did you think I wouldn't support you?" Now he sounds just hurt. Disappointed almost. Zoro, being the good first mate that he is, looks torn between puzzled irritation and the overwhelming need to comfort his captain.
Nami wonders if she is going to die from lack of oxygen.
"Well I do!" Luffy exclaims with thrust out chest and full blown pout. He puts his hands on his hips and declares: "You are my Nakama and when you are happy, I am happy."

Nami really doesn't mind explaining unfamiliar concepts to her captain. She enjoys sharing her knowledge with him.
It's too bad he sometimes takes her quite literally.
(Too bad for Zoro and Sanji at least. Nami is having the time of her life)

Summary
The stuff on his fingers and on his chin drips down onto his leg and it makes a sound like plinkplinkplink and everywhere it lands there is a small explosion of light.
Tiny fireworks.
He shakes his head and more drops hit the ground and it makes his head spin and somewhere deep down a high pitched voice tells him to stop, to not make it worse, but there are such pretty fireworks all around him now and the fish stop swimming and look down at him and he raises his arms and tells them to come down, come down, watch the fireworks with me!
But the fish only stare, swimming in place, their fins going back and forth and forth and back.
Boring fish.

An ambush leaves Luffy drugged and lost. A friend helps him find his way home.

Summary

And in that moment, Sanji realizes it isn’t the hummingbird he’s looking at, but a boy with a heart and hunger too vast for human nature.
“Fascinating, are they not?" the man continues, turning to him with eyes of awe. “To be a bird that has no choice but to fly.”
Or: Whole Cake Island was the last place Sanji ever kicked Luffy.

Porchemy wants to warn the fools.
He wants to tell them not to underestimate the boy blindly, not to brush him off as though he is no threat.
(because he still remembers the time when there was a small, broken, body hanging from a rope in front of him—beaten, bruised, and bloody—crimson dripping from a spiked glove—
and that small, broken, boy has become a pirate— worth more than all of East Blue's criminals put together.)
(he is worth more than Bluejam ever could have dreamed to be)
But Porchemy can't warn them. Doesn't have any reason to warn them, really.
He is a former pirate himself, on the run (even though nobody is looking for him), and he can never amount to anything more.
So he crumples up the newspaper and tosses it to the ground.Porchemy survives.
