"Yeah, I know," She said with a resigned nod, "It's from your soulmate. And I'm afraid that your soulmate has been having a rather rough time lately." She traced the black eye on her son's face with her thumb, ran a hand through his blonde locks, and sent him a small, sad smile.

“Can I ask you something?” Mic asks, slowly looking away from the sky as the cloud passes and the sun’s rays shine on them again.
“Of course.”
“Why do you want to be a hero, Kaminari?” Mic’s voice is gentle, as if he’s afraid to break whatever somber mood has settled over them as well.
Kaminari looks down, into the sea of people walking so far below them. Kaminari can’t hear them, can barely make out their faces, even. But, he can imagine what they’re doing. Adults walking to and from work, or the store running errands. Some laden with bags, others with briefcases. Teenagers and kids walking home from school, stopping at corner stores and arcades to hang out longer with their friends. Families walking downtown, children in the middle, clutching their parent’s hands and laughing in joy. Everyone living their lives, in their own bubbles, going about their day. Kaminari can feel himself smiling as he observes them.
Or, Kaminari interns with Present Mic. It goes better than Kaminari could have ever hoped.

Tsukishima looked at Yamaguchi, really looked. And it took all he had not to gasp audibly, or react in any manner, because that was when he saw. And as he saw who Yamaguchi really was, Tsukishima felt something in his chest flutter and break.
“Anyways, I have to go now!” Yamaguchi exclaimed, snapping Tsukishima out of his adoring reverie. “See you later!”
He wanted to tell Yamaguchi to stay, but Tsukishima was frozen.Tsukishima is a palaeontologist who doesn't believe in love. Although Kuroo is always telling him to date or just get out and about, Tsukishima refuses. When Kuroo uses the analogy that love is like a bird, it takes everything that Tsukishima has within him not to snort and laugh.
That changes when he meets Yamaguchi.
When Tsukishima falls in love with him.
But, being the socially awkward person Tsukishima is, he doesn't know how to say it. What better way is there to profess your love than name two dinosaurs after them?
(Or, Tsukishima meets Yamaguchi in the museum cafeteria and promptly names two dinosaurs after him because he's emotionally constipated and cannot deal with love.)Series
