Summary
The air crackles around Tommy, thick with static - he has to close his eyes against the force of it. The spell thrums through him, and something else, too, some presence, warmth, deep within him. He thinks, unbidden, fierce, I love you because you are love.
The tempest dies. Tommy dares not open his eyes. His breath catches, like teetering on a cliff-edge.
“Oh, Tommy,” comes a voice with Eret’s pitch, Niki’s gentleness, Wilbur’s sonorance and accent. Then there’s a hand on Tommy’s cheek. He can’t look, but leans into it. “I always loved you too.”
Tommy uses the revival book on L'Manberg's crater-corpse. It works more literally than he expected.

I've followed this fic almost from the start, and absolutely loved every moment of it. I think it's only fitting for this to be the first bookmark I ever save on AO3.
This fic is chock-full of chaos, explosions, and a little bit of blackmailing(as a treat). It's also full of sweet moments to balance out the pandemonium.
