Summary
Immediately 3 things became apparent.
One, the room was way smaller than he thought with just two beds on either side. Desks filling the wall side to side separating the sleeping space with one large window overlooking campus cracked open above the twin desks.
Two, his roommate was already there and had started to unpack. Posters scattered the concrete wall, small knick knacks strewn on the adjacent desk with piles of colourful clothes thrown across the unmade bed.
Three, his roommate was also the most beautiful person Sapnap had ever seen.

Summer has a way of making you feel too big for your skin, left with an ache to ease the discomfort. Karl is left thinking that Sapnap must have that same energy as the sounds of his most recent hookup’s moans echo through the house. This routine of long nights laying in his bed trying to rationalize why his body was reacting so strongly to his best friend and roommate’s frequent sexual romps was becoming exhausting.
