In all honesty, Freddy was surprised this didn’t happen sooner in the evening. Gregory was only a child after all, he couldn’t run off of pure adrenaline all night. He was hoping to find somewhere safe for the kid as he became quieter in Freddy’s chest cavity, but each time Freddy attempts to escort the child to his “bedroom”, the boy is magically wide awake, complaining at Freddy’s wandering.

"I...bud-" Lamb's concern was palpable, cloven paws raising up to touch Narinder's slightly sunken in cheeks. Narinder quickly slapped the gesture away, albeit fairly weakly, "I need not your pity."
