Summary
Charlie hates men. He hates his manipulative ex, who won’t leave him alone even though he just moved 250 miles away from him. He hates the string of disappointing flings that messed with his head and made him miserable over the summer. He hates the toxic masculinity that’s apparently rife at his new uni too, where the rugby lads seem to rule the place.
But most of all, he can’t stand the boy who works behind the bar at the Student Union, and it’s not just because he happens to be captain of said rugby team and thinks way, way too highly of himself.
The one where a sorely misunderstood golden retriever and a jaded, sassy nerd who can’t keep his mouth shut navigate the joys of university with a lot of alcohol and hardly any common sense.
