Not as a creature of the night but just a man, not as something impossible to define and escaping into the shadows but as a face and a name and a presence that was very present in the room.

    The woman who had cast the thing had been powerful in her own strange ways, if uncontrollable, she had whispered words in the throes of passion that had been laced with the curse, the boon, the magic.

    Bruce remembers, because that was the last time he had seen his own cock.
