Summary
Rubble. Flames. Those were the first things to enter Hyojin’s field of vision. He closed his eyes again.
His head still hurt like a bitch. When he tried to get up, his limbs would not cooperate. Every part of his body ached like the insides of his bones were on fire.
When he finally managed to get on to his hands and knees, he realised what was wrong.The quiet. The absolute silence he was surrounded by. He was in the midst of crumbling ruins and roaring flames, and yet he could not hear a thing.
That was, until sound came back.
