All the while, he shushed and soothed him, till Steve’s whimpers disintegrated into soft sighs. Boy, Steve aced at presenting tough. Summary
The zombie apocalypse hits, and Steve and Robin sacrifice themselves for their friends. And then they’re zombies, semi-self-aware, shambling around the mall, inexplicably never hungry, understanding each other better than the other zombies ever could, and inadvertently rescuing a girl named Max.
The mall isn’t safe for her, so Steve and Robin leave to find somewhere that is, and they might just find their way back to living again when they run into people who thought they were dead.

A zombified Steve and Robin that don’t eat them on sight is already more than they could have ever hoped for, but they soon discover that the two are a lot less dead than they seem.
