Summary
A Thalmor Justiciar with a fiery temper is put on leave for losing control of himself and killing a criminal. As he returns to Alinor, his rage grows hot enough that he dabbles with the idea of turning on the Thalmor and becoming a criminal, himself. This decision leads him down an unexpected path.

Summary
If any group in Tamriel has ever truly represented the concept of "evil," it's the cold and calculating Thalmor: black uniforms, sinister purpose, wholesale slaughter, and civilians vanishing into the night. Three stories unravel individual threads of purpose, ambition and loyalty to look at the people behind the uniforms, to explore the theme of "evil" and how it's made up of the everyday.
Malenthir is a disgraced Justiciar released to return to his work, struggling to come to terms with the injustice in the institution he's so loyally served.
Nelcanar has agreed to accompany Synod mage Elyenne into ancient Dwemer ruins in return for information. His motives and priorities are soon tested by this partnership.
Oncirus is a newly promoted Justiciar, assigned to the formidable Justiciar Thalendil for training. For an already troubled mer, the boundaries of right and wrong are about to become very blurred. -

Summary
Two old soldiers try to build a new life away from the Thalmor that hunt them, but the elves may turn out to be the least of their worries. Settling into a civilian world isn't easy when plagued by old guilts and grim memories. Not to mention the complicating factor: one of them is an ex-Stormcloak... and the other is a Thalmor defector.
