Summary
Percy Jackson had been left, alone, in Tartarus. His trust in his best friend was shattered. His loyalty was owed to no one. His energy went into keeping himself alive, and if he had to delve into darker and more deadly powers, so be it. But now he"s out, and he has work to do.
In which Percy Jackson, hopefully, manages to win a war, flip off Annabeth Chase, and take a much-needed nap. Not in that order.

In which Percy Jackson goes A Bit Too Far, Annabeth Chase gets A Bit Too Scared, and the story changes for the worse.

Summary
Atlas had heard rumours of course, every creature worth its ichor had. Hearing rumours and seeing in real life where to different things however. The boys’ eyes, a bright gold that seemed to flow like a molten stream, were filled with concealed rage as he looked up Castellan from his position under the sky. Elsewise, his face was a blank mask of calm and contemplation. He was like a predator trapped behind the walls of a flimsy cage, watching its captors for the slightest moment of weakness.

Summary
"The other gods found themselves grateful that none of Poseidon’s children had truly inherited their father’s features. Yes, they shared hair colour or eyes, but none truly looked like the sea God. None of them looked like the Titan king. They would only have to look upon the face of the old king at the solstices and important council meetings. They fooled themselves into believing that they would never have to face the Titan kings likeness.
Then Perseus Jackson was born."

Or Poseidon and Percy look a little too much like the Titan king

Summary
"i grieve in stereo, the stereo sounds strange,
i know that if you hide, it doesn"t go away.
if you get out of bed and find me standing all alone
open-eyed - burn the page, my little dark age."
- mgmtThe Ancient Greeks always had it right: The sea cannot be restrained. It is ancient, and harbors things and mysteries no mortal will ever be able to understand. But Percy Jackson is no mere mortal. Like his father, he is the sea itself.
Or, in which Percy Jackson, son of Sally Jackson and a Hero of Olympus, supposedly dies in Tartarus, and Poseidon"s grief destroys entire countries. But when his father retrieves him from Hell, he finds his son alive. And not quite human anymore — his very soul has been altered.
(Previously titled: let us sit upon the ground and tell sad stories about the death of kings. Check the series for the alternate ending!)
