Summary
Rukia Kuchiki hates Ichigo Kurosaki on principle. Ever since the boy moved in with his family in the neighbouring ranch to Kuchiki Ranch, he has been nothing but vile to her. He tormented her during her childhood years, calling her names and taunting her with pranks. Now that she is older, Rukia has put it all behind her, determined to have nothing to do with her childhood bully.
Yet, when her brother unexpectedly passes away from an accident, Rukia finds herself in need of a husband to retain her rights to the Kuchiki Ranch. There is nothing that Rukia will not do to save the ranch from falling into the hands of her nasty relatives, even if it means marrying someone like Kurosaki.
Ichigo, on the other hand, just wants a chance to say sorry for being an ass. He has done a lot of growing up over the years and wants to make it up to Rukia for all the stupid things he’s said and done in the past. He jumps at the chance, desperate to make amends. After all, it is only for a marriage in name and they will only be married for a year, but living in close quarters does strange things to the mind. He cannot help but wonder: could it be that he has fallen for the Ice Queen?

I just read all of the conversations I had last night while I was out drunk and thoroughly embarrassing myself and please let me apologise for bothering you (especially as I think you were working if you were in your office?) last night. I mean in hindsight I probably should have stopped messaging you as soon as it was clear you weren't who I was looking for, but drunk me apparently hates sober me so yeah, I'm sorry. That being said thank you again for helping me out even though I must have been bothering you, I appreciate it.
