"Well, the unfortunately I was talking about was my new role as roadie for my foster father's public rant show, but now that you mention it, there is a certain sad quality to a bunch of likely inventors gathering together to suck up to the arms dealer that wiped out a country." She tilted her head. "Or is that not 'unfortunate' enough?"
"Former arms dealer," Peter stressed.
"Former country." She shrugged. "But that seems like splitting hairs."

A (kinda) shortfic I wrote in like 3-4 hours for Halloween. Maybe under tagged, but I really don't know what to tag this with.
