Summary
So Fëanáro does not die cursing under the stars.
It softens his temper a little, binds him tighter to his sons. Still, he remains himself - self-aggrandising, wilful and thorned. So Ñolofinwë does not lose his youngest in the battle of Lammoth, and receives aid.
Begrudgingly, for the good of all, he will co-operate. Yet, though a good man, he is also ambitious and proud. Can they find a healthy way to co-exist? Probably not. But they will try.
Meanwhile, Elu Thingol and his kin are reasonably concerned, Artanis and Celeborn court, Findaráto is more than meets the eye, and Lúthien cannot merely wait for Men to arrive to Beleriand if Beleriand does not survive till then.
--
[Yes, there is half-sibling incest, beware! But, at least, in my interpretation they barely interacted in youth, as Fëanor was mostly out of Tirion by the time Fingolfin toddled, so their social and emotional dynamic does not really have familial tones.]

Summary
A familiar sound: the door Maglor had hung, parting in a rustle of leaves and cloth. Maedhros closed his eyes.
“He wasn’t alone,” someone called out with grim satisfaction. “Brought a bedwarmer for the road.”

Summary
“I want to know you,” Celebrimbor said. “You and all that there is to you.”
Beneath his hands, he felt Annatar tense, his skin growing colder as if every part of him, including his blood, wanted to withdraw from Celebrimbor’s touch.
“You don’t know what you are asking for,” Annatar said quietly.
“Perhaps not,” Celebrimbor replied. “And yet this is what I want. You have offered me so much over these years: unnumbered gifts that you gave freely, that I did not even need to ask for. So let this be the first, the last, and the only thing I ask for myself.”
Let me in. Let me know you. Show me who you were, before you came to me. Let me know all that is ancient and primordial, terrifying and incomprehensible about you. Show me the god beneath the face of the man. Permit me to know you as you truly are.On the eve of the creation of the Great Rings, Celebrimbor makes a dangerous request and history changes forever.

Summary
“Who are you really, Lady?”
She laughs. It has been a long time since anyone has asked her that. “You have known me from childhood, Fëanáro. How do you not know who I am?”
He shakes his head at her, and gestures for her to sit. “I know what we say of you. I want to hear what you say of yourself.”
She sits on the cushion and pushes back her hood. When she tips her head back, she can feel the stars overhead, the stones within the earth, the sea and the trees and the Song and Song and Song of all of them still Singing together, and within that Song the Discordance that somehow makes the beauty sweeter. “I am the one who sang of Loss before anything was missed, who sang Grief when there was only Beauty. I am the one who sees the Sacred in the Marred.”
“That frightens you, doesn’t it?” he asks. “You think that it makes you like Him.”
“It does,” she answers, because it is true. “His song was not always Destruction. In the beginning, it was of Change, and I still think that it was beautiful. Tell me, Fëanáro, who knew the Enemy for what he was: Am I right to fear?”
An ambiguously re-embodied Feanor spends time with Nienna.
