Tommy stutters, his tongue suddenly turning to rubber and stares at the man, one of the world's top villains, in his passenger's seat. “I—”
“One moment.” The Angel holds up a finger, popping the door open and looking towards the back of Tommy’s car. He cups a hand to his face. “Boys, get in this fucking car or I’m leaving you behind!”
Tommy twists in his seat, head snapping back to look out his back window and watches as three more men (holy shit, is that the Blade?) come darting towards his car.

Summary
"You can open your eyes now, lovebug," Wilbur declared, planting a quick kiss on Tommy's forehead.
"Mm, no," the little whined playfully.
"No?" Wilbur feigned shock.
"'M s'eepy."
"Time for bed?"
Tommy just hummed, letting his arms find their way around his dada's neck and his chin to his shoulder. When he knew Wilbur couldn't see, he opened his eyes, just for the heck of it. He grinned at his silly antics.
"What's so funny, mister?" Wilbur asked, tone alight with his own smile as he rubbed the little's back, "I can feel you grinning back there."
Tommy giggled, tucking his thumb into his mouth on instinct. "Nuffin'."
In which Tommy finally decides to leave his abusive family and goes to stay with his pseudo-brother, Wilbur. They come to realize and learn many things about Tommy, some of which they both may have been better off not knowing. Amidst the chaos of his life, Tommy finds calm, and slowly, he learns how he can heal.
