He sighed defeatedly, dragging a hand down his face in exhaustion. He needed to get a grip on himself, there was no chance he’d act like this in front of Stanley. Especially when he next sees the man.
And why was that?
Because the Narrator finally gathered the courage to ask one simple, yet very important question to his lover. A question the shorter man had just recently grown confident to even dare think about.
He was going to ask Stanley for his hand in marriage.
And he was going to do it tonight.
(Or: stanarrator being sickeningly in love with each other. That’s it that’s the fic (or is it?))

It’s not how he’d expected the day to go when he woke up that morning, but hey. He’ll take it.
