Summary
Half a year after the war Hermione decides to face the source of her nightmares and visits Malfoy Manor. The only downside? “Tell me!” Draco said, cocking his head as he slowly came a few steps closer, wand drawn, ready to fight her if need be, “To what exactly do I owe the pleasure of your company on my estate? Came to gloat?”
“I…” Hermione took a step away from him, “I was wondering if I could see the drawing room.”
“Why?”
“To get used to it.”
“Why do you need to get used to my drawing room? Plan to set camp? Tell me, why the fuck are you really here?”
She shrugged and chose honesty, “I’m here because I have nightmares of this place. Because I dream of it weekly and I’m so tired of it. I want to get it out of my system.”
“Oh? Out of your system?” he asked cynically, “Well if it’s that easy. Go ahead. After you!”

Three years after her escape from Malfoy Manor, Hermione finally finds herself getting close to being able to end things. She's turned herself into a weapon and cultivated her alliances carefully. Voldemort might have gained a lot of ground in the years since her escape but with the proper tools and friends the tides of the war are about to turn as the Valkyries take flight.
