    In which Lan Zhan is a prince running away from a goodwill tour of Europe, and Wei Ying is the broke reporter who finds him drunk (?) on the streets of Rome, brings him home without knowing who he is, finds out who he is, and decides to get an exclusive, no-holds-barred interview about the life and loves of the reclusive, socially awkward Prince of Gusu. The problem? Lan Zhan doesn’t know Wei Ying is a reporter, he doesn’t know that Wei Ying’s figured out he’s a prince, and he leaves for Athens in two days.

    Jiang Cheng is overwhelmed by a fit of coughing. Nie Huaisang pats him on the back awkwardly as he struggles for breath. Slowly, Jiang Cheng straightens up and dusts off his robes.

    “Lan Zhan! I found you~” croons Wei Wuxian, and Jiang Cheng is knocked aside a second time as his adopted brother rushes towards Lan Wangji in gleeful pursuit.

    Lan Wangji glances over his shoulder, and Jiang Cheng sees his unmistakable expression of horror as Wangji"s eyes latch on to the stick that Wei Ying is holding.

    Wei Wuxian is very good at what he does, the best contract killer on the payroll of Jiang Industries. Despite how dirty his job is, his life is pretty simple: wake up (eventually), go to work, make the hit, come home, try not to let his roommate Lan Wangji notice the blood on his hands, go to bed. He lives his life in secrets, and the only complication is that he might be in love with said roommate, and his roommate just might have secrets of his own.

A crane and a young fisherman, two entities that met by chance, yet the heavens willed for them to meet. Wei Wuxian did not remember, but Lan Wangji did, and that was enough. He remembered.
