Summary
After things heat up between him and Leona on the Isle of Woe, Jamil clings to the first chance he’s had to explore his sexuality.
Well… the first one that doesn’t involve confronting his feelings about Kalim.
Leona knows he might be doing more harm than good - but he also knows this is the only type of help Jamil could be willing to accept. Also, he gets some pretty wild sex out of the deal.

Crowley announces a fun new event he’s already put into motion - Parents’ Tour!
Jamil needs to host the Al-Asim at Scarabia dorm, and hide what happened during his overblot, and pretend he isn’t sleeping with Kalim. Not to mention keeping Kalim - no, their entire dorm from letting anything slip.
It seems an impossible task because it is. Jamil is doomed from the start.
But maybe this is his penance. Maybe he was already living on borrowed time anyways.

Rook is always there to support Vil in his darkest moments; but Vil has never known what he’s supposed to do when Rook is overwhelmed and nonverbal. Traditional methods of comfort always seemed to harm more than help.
Rook has never been very traditional.

Summary
It’s just Jamil’s luck that the one time someone tries to poison Kalim at school, he ends up getting hit with the full dose.
Stabilizing Kalim is something Jamil is used to. Unfortunately, Kalim isn’t good enough at alchemy - or controlling his own trauma response - to return the favour.

Summary
For Jamil’s part, he’d never been permitted to go into rut. As a servant, it was yet another of the things he simply wasn’t allowed to do. A servant couldn’t walk around exuding alpha pheromones just like a servant couldn’t win too often when playing board games.
Now that he’s at Night Raven University, Jamil has become a little more comfortable presenting as an Alpha - but a reduction in his suppressors means he doesn’t have the control over his body that he thought he did.
Kalim is super okay with this.

Summary
It’s been a few years since Kalim has been woken in the middle of the night by an assassin standing over his bed - and in that time his relationship with Jamil has… matured. Seeing his retainer brutally protect him is the strongest aphrodisiac he’s ever experienced.
They swore they wouldn’t have sex at the Asim estate.

Summary
Locked in his own body from Charon’s paralysis spell, Jamil realizes that his true fear is being powerless. What he doesn’t realize - consciously, at least - is that nothing is more comforting than being of use to someone.
-
In Jamil’s absence, Kalim trails after the one person who seems capable of providing him with direction.

Summary
Jamil always wakes up first.
Today; he’s found a new way to take advantage of that.

Summary
The freedom Jamil has had since his overblot feels much more like an empty void. For better or for worse, Kalim can’t stay away for long.

Summary
Vil’s use of his signature spell during the SDC training camp really messes with Kalim’s head. Jamil needs to control his temper - but above all else, make sure Kalim actually does eat something.

Summary
Closing the Breach means Gethrael will finally be free of being the Herald of Andraste, right?
Right?
After watching Haven burn and stumbling through the snow, Geth's sheer stupid determination to not die will only make him even more exalted. There is nothing so isolating as being seen as the chosen of a god you don't even believe in.

Summary
AKA 'UST and Zombies'
What do you get when the inexperienced Herald of Andraste is sent to The Fallow Mire to rescue a handful of hostages? A lightning rod, considering the constant electrical storms make his already poorly-controlled magic go wild. Oh, and plague zombies. Lots of plague zombies.
Dorian is enjoying the task of honing Gethrael's magical skill more than he thought, and it has nothing to do with his carefree good looks and (entirely accidental) charm. Probably.

Summary
Gethrael Lavellan is no negotiator, and is expected to do no more than bring Grand Enchanter Fiona back to the Inquisition’s forward camp to discuss an alliance. Of course, no one thought they’d find a Magister in the seat of power instead; or to be offered help by his former student.
It’s a good thing Dorian is so talented - Gethrael is not terribly good at combat... or much of anything.
