Summary
The crew of the Cerritos were on their way home from defeating the Aledo when luck gave them a routine Second Contact mission. Only for it to be a trap by the planet’s locals and an ambitious pirate.
One plucky ensign manages to save the ship at the cost of almost everything about him. Developing a severe case of Cerebral Hypoxia in a lucky break. Stuck in orbit of an archaic civilization, with no help in sight, his three best friends have to rely on each other to pick up the pieces.
They’re devastated, but supportive. But as their thoughts of each other bubble to the surface, and with a lot of downtime to think, it’s unclear where one ends and the other begins…

Summary
