Summary
Rio Vidal is in her last year of grad school and just wants to get through it as fast as she can, so she can finally start her life in the real world. The only issue is that she's put off taking the required creative selective she needs to complete her degree until the last possible moment.
Enter guest professor and famous author Agatha Harkness whose seminar Rio signed up for thinking it would be the easiest route. What Rio hadn't taken into consideration though, was the effect her professor was going to have on her.
As Agatha pushes and challenges Rio in ways she never thought possible, Rio slowly comes to the conclusion that maybe signing up for the creative writing 101 seminar is one of the best decision she ever made.

Agatha cleared her throat, cutting Rio off. The look on Rio’s face made it obvious that she knew she had gotten a reaction, and Agatha hated it.

Rio Vidal has just been released on probation from prison – only requirement being that she goes to meet a psychiatrist, Agatha Harkness, twice a week.

Summary
Rio had lost faith in prophecies. More specifically, she didn't believe in what was predicted for her. Not in light of what happened to Nicky, not after what happened between her and Agatha. But as the prophecy started to materialise, her faith was irrelevant.

Rio is pregnant. Agatha is the father. This was predicted at the beginning of time, but none of the women realized it back then, because they thought the prophecy was about Nicky.
