Summary
Falling on his knees, Redson could barely feel his legs and arms, everything about him hurt immensely and he probably had broken some bones. Trying to protect Mk from the more lethal blows that would end any other normal human, "shoot- wait Red" he heard Mk speak, his eyes barely making out the silhouette of the monkey kid as he rushed to his side before he collapsed, it wasn't until he felt the warm calloused hands grab him by his side that they finally let themselves fall to their doom "hey…come on man don't close your eyes yet-" he could hear the distinctive desperation on the noodle boy's voice, the grasp of his hands tightening with every second he decided to keep his eyes close "not until we get somewhere safe, please?" He pleaded.
Or: Red son and Mk had a rought fight against some weird monster, and Mk takes care of redson

It went away in a second, but the water spilt from the dropped glass began to steam. Red Son could see, along with the smallest pink cinders floating in the mess’s midst, that the water was boiling.”

Summary
Redson cannot be separated from the samadhi fire. He IS the samadhi fire. There is no choice but to forge a coffin- something impenetrable, able to quell the fire and sully the threat to the world. Redson has lived in a world of darkness for as long as he can remember- centuries of torturous deprivation, briefly illuminated by the sounds of family… until the ‘services’ of the samadhi fire are finally needed.
AKA: Redson is imprisoned since infancy so he can’t destroy the world. But now his help is needed to defeat Lady Bone Demon… and he is not going willingly.
