He is also extremely sensitive to the world, and to people- Most days it feels as if even a particularly strong gust of wind could send him falling to pieces. Trembling in a corner somewhere and biting back sobs edging towards agonized wails, all because of something someone said, or did, that his brain decided to turn into a cataclysmic event worthy of the collapse of his entire sense of self.
So, as an aspiring hero in a world of Betas, Alpha's and Omegas, Amajiki found himself unintentionally avoiding anything having to do with omegas, outside of his studies and training. It felt like just lingering upon anything to do with that secondary gender pushed him further towards the worst possible outcome- That on top of his already frail and admittedly pathetic demeanor and mental constitution, he still could potentially present as an omega.

“I’m not stupid Nance, you love him” He sniffles, his voice defeated as he turns away to start packing his things in a rush. “I can’t watch you obsess over him anymore.” Despite her denial she doesn’t once stop Steve from leaving.
This is a story inspired by a Reddit post, there wasn't a happy ending in the post, so I felt the need to write one.

It’s the first time in his career as a nurse at Omega’s Clinic that Eddie faces such a complicated case.
Steve Harrington, 21 years old, male omega by designation, but he never completed his presentation. His medical file only mentions a generic “emotional trauma,” which doesn’t provide much information. However, Owens himself suggested that the boy be treated at their clinic, so Eddie isn’t going to object. Still, he would feel much more comfortable if he actually knew something about him.
The picture in the file shows a young, healthy man, but if Steve hasn’t had a heat since his presentation, things are more complicated than they seem. Eddie doesn’t like surprises, especially not at work.
He sighs. The boy is arriving soon, and Eddie needs to take his vitals, ensure he’s prepared as recommended, and then wait for Doctor Owens to conduct the first evaluation.
