Summary
She comes to him on the second day, grave dirt still in her hair, skin the pale of milk and the faintest hint of cut lavender. "I understand we're to be as siblings, now," she says, softly.
Astarion laughs at her – a titter of a laugh, high and sharp and fragile. His eyes dart down the hall and then up it, seeking automatically for the lingering presence of their master. It's been five decades, now, and he's learned. They have been hard lessons, but oh, how he's learned.
"Sorry to disappoint, my dear," he tells her, and his smile matches the laugh, entirely too thin and entirely too sharp, like shattered glass. "I'm afraid real siblings aren't inclined to half of what he'll make us to do to one another."

Summary
Astarion Ancunin, high elf magistrate of Baldur’s Gate, dies in the year DR 1292.
Two nights later, a different man entirely awakens in the dark.
~Astarion escapes death at the hands of the Gur by selling himself to the new vampire lord, Cazador Szarr. Every day afterwards is a waking nightmare. He is nothing if not a survivor, but the longer he is tortured in the dark, the more and more he wonders if survival is worth it.
A largely canon compliant exploration of Astarion's enslavement.

Summary
Cazador Szarr didn’t intend to turn a man like Astarion. That’s Aurelia’s working theory. Astarion—loud, prideful, panicky Astarion—was a crime of passion from a passionless monster. Astarion is a crime scene, not of a murder (murder isn’t a crime to a predator) but rather the crime of losing control. Aurelia is pretty sure Cazador couldn’t help himself. AKA: 5 times Cazador saw Astarion before he finally killed him.

Summary
He pushes up his cropped top, letting his fingers trail seductively over the skin on his pale chest. He lets out a soft moan, as if this was the greatest feeling ever. Deep inside he feels nothing. Every sound, every movement is an act that he had learned to play perfectly.
