Summary
The night hung silent and tranquil. Most demons in crossroads would've cozied up in their apartments by now. Maybe a few toiling away working the nightshift at their jobs. Not many would have ventured so late, especially not for something seemingly so foolish.
Sword and Rocket didn't have any particular justification to be out wandering the dimly lit streets as they were. None other than they were bored and hadn't sparred in a while. It was a hobby of sorts that they started in their teen years, one that turned into training for upcoming phights.
A tradition, almost. Something outside the regular training the two would do together in broad daylight, pretty much everyone who knew them knew about those. But these late night spars were something they always kept to themselves. Originally, it was out of fear of getting in trouble, nowadays it would just feel wrong for someone to intrude on them. This was their own little secret.
