“I don’t have a personal vendetta against them! They have annoying powers and probably an annoying face and an annoying voice.” After a beat, Wilbur added, “and an annoying personality too.”
For as long as he can remember, Tommy had been in and out of foster homes, before finding a permanent one with his brother Dream. However, as he got to know Wilbur, Techno, and Phil, he found himself yearning to be close to them instead.
Meanwhile, in the city, the rivalry between the villain Dream Team and hero SBI was coming to a close as a newcomer joined the battle, tipping the scale in favor of the villains. Things continued to heat up when SBI uncovered a conspiracy that had the potential to destroy all metahumans, and the Dream Team's plan to steal it.
Somewhere in the middle of all this, the powerless teenager Tommy got dragged into the mess, and he learned the truth about family, morality, and himself.

Summary
Wilbur thinks he’s found the problem. You see, the reason Tommy’s been acting funny and distant is because of these new friends he made. That Quackity, especially, seems to be in some fishy business.
He’s not a jealous guy by any means, he swears, but all these people surrounding his little brother wanting to be friends with him are making him just the tiniest bit concerned. It’s totally not because of the hurt and jealousy that has been festering inside Wilbur. He doesn’t care if Tommy is hanging out with him less or keeping secrets from him even if they used to talk about everything.
There are probably ulterior motives here and he’s gonna put a stop to this whole nonsense before it escalates. It’s his duty, after all.
Or, Wilbur’s attempt to hold an intervention for Tommy when he notices Tommy hanging out with untrustworthy people (in his eyes). They argue, give each other the cold shoulder, and finally make up after Techno knocks some sense into Wilbur’s head. Fluff ensues.
