Summary

All is not well in Shibuya. Or perhaps it's more accurate to say that things are far too well in Shibuya. Soon after the fall of Yaldabaoth, Shizuka Joestar awakens to a world utterly devoid of strife. It soon becomes clear that another supernatural force has taken root in the heart of Tokyo, building a serene world of unnatural perfection. Soon she, Akira Kurusu, the rest of the Phantom Thieves, and some old enemies, become embroiled in a new conflict to decide not just the fate of the world, but the entire shape of human destiny.

Summary
Shizuka Joestar, Joseph's adopted daughter, has grown a lot since the Bizarre Summer of 1999. Now in 2016, following the passing of both her parents, she returns to Japan to get away from some of the pressure of the United States. Soon she finds herself weaved into something far wilder than she ever could have imagined, joining a group of mysterious thieves against a new slew of insidious Stand users and a conspiracy that threatens the world at large.

So it'd really fucking suck if that employee was completely unsuited to rescuing anything or anyone, wouldn't it?
The only good thing going for Yuva is that she isn't dead yet. And there's a lot of time left to die.

probably the best fic i've read in a while, and one of my favorite fanfics in general. some of the later chapters (past chapter 37 iirc) get really long, with some of them being as long as entire fanfics. regardless, i highly recommend this fic, especially if you're a One Piece fan!

They find evidence that a previous associate of theirs is kidnapping and recruiting young psychics for a splinter group calling themselves the Cerebral Soldiers. It’s uncertain what their motives are, but given the way the organization is run, they can’t be good.
While the Psychonauts scramble with what little information they have, hoping to find out as much as possible about the group before it’s too late, others among them continue to look for answers elsewhere as it becomes apparent that the mystery behind the past tragedies and the present conflict might be one and the same.
This takes place six years after the sequel.

Many who got away described it as a giant, black, bear-like creature with the head of a lion, horns of a ram, wings of a crow, tail of a beaver, and many sharp spikes throughout its body.
