Chrissy huffs, her arms crossed over her chest, and blows a breath up, disturbing her bangs. “This is…ridiculous,” she says, like it is the highest form of condemnation. “I mean, she expects us to plan all of this in a week—less than, actually, because it starts Friday night, and it’s already Tuesday!”
Eddie looks at her for a long moment, and then sighs, reaching into the pocket on the inside of his denim jacket, pulling out his Camels. “This fucking blows,” he finally says, letting her know he is not the only one that is not a fan.
