"I can't just want to see my boys?" Mel replied, and Jayce's eyes went wide again, but Viktor made a dissenting noise.
"I object to being referred to as your boys," he said staunchly. It was Mel's turn to raise her eyebrows. Viktor shrugged again, and a smirk grew on his face as he followed it with, "I don't think we are your boys, but I do think he is our Jayce."
The Jayce in question choked. Mel ignored him as she gave this a pensive hum. "I think I can agree to that."
