This countines daily as the boxes slowly show Izuku's memories umitl Christmas morning when Katsuki unwraps the last gift, it is Izuku himself who just awoke from a deep slumber since the villain attack.

Katsuki looked ethereal, snow in his hair and cheeks red from the cold. His pale skin glowed in the moonlight, lips tipped up into a small, secret smile as he watched the sky.
The words slipped out before Izuku could stop them.
“I love you,” he breathed, then slapped his hands over his mouth.
Katsuki’s head whipped over to stare at him with wide eyes.
“Uh,” Izuku said, “April Fools?”
There was a painful pause.
“It’s December,” Katsuki replied, strained.

Summary
Around 3 weeks after the war, Aizawa decided to have a talk with everyone about weaknesses they needed to work on. So they'd improve if a big battle like this occurd again.
Bakugo got told that he couldn't 'self sacrifice' himself like that again for Midoriya, like he did twice in the war. Midoriya got told he needed to control himself whenever Bakugo got hurt.
In other words, they were each others weakness.

Summary
Somewhere in the Heights Alliance dorm, All Might’s smile once beamed from wall to wall, memorabilia littering every corner. Had anyone been by to clean out Izuku’s dorm room? Had anyone told Auntie? He imagines her stripping the wall of its posters, taking down the decorations and sobbing over something as stupid as an All Might bobble-head.
Don’t think about it.
But the memories surge, black as indelible ink, because this is not the future he’d dreamt of.
Izuku is supposed to be by his side. He is supposed to have lived. Fans should be chasing down details of his every achievement, painting their rooms meadow green, filling their notebooks with sketches of a wobbly-smiled nerd with a heart too big for his own good.
Eyes closed, Katsuki clenches his teeth hard enough that they creak.
Izuku doesn't survive the war. Katsuki tries to figure out where to go from there.
No one quite approves of the path he decides on.

The biggest problem with this extremely well conceived plan?
