The Powerpuffs haven't seen the Rowdyruff Boys for several years due to a haunting encounter that resulted in the boys being incarcerated and left Blossom scarred, Bubbles with nightmares and Buttercup with anxiety.
But with them reaching 17, the city has deemed the boys 'cured' and sends them to Townsville High School to become clean teenagers of the community.
