Summary:“Kim Dokja.” The sound of his name makes his breath hitch. His eyes burn with oncoming tears. He hasn’t cried in front of another person in years. It’s mortifying. He doesn’t understand why the sound of his name from Yoo Joonghyuk’s mouth hurts him, why it hollows out the inside of his chest, why it aches with a loneliness he thought he got used to living with.
“Kim Dokja, allow me to know you.”It’s so tempting to say yes. He wants to be known. He wants to be seen.
It’s terrifying.
He says no, and walks back to the manor alone.
Or: Kim Dokja is transmigrated into a different world. He's determined to keep to himself and wait for the narrative to reach it's end so he can go home. He doesn't mean to get attached.
He doesn't expect to be loved, either.

“You do?” he asked, jaw dropping open into what he knew was an unseemly sort of gaping motion, like a fish, but in his defense – “I’ve never met anyone else who does that!”

Summary
Nie Huaisang travels back to before his brother’s death, and realises that this is his chance to make everything right. He can prevent his brother and best friend’s deaths, can make sure everyone he cares about ends up happy, and do it all right under the nose of the one he hates the most.
…And maybe he also wants to exact his revenge on A-Yao a second time. For the one who wanted his brother dead, one lifetime of suffering can’t possibly be enough.

Nie Huaisang’s mother had been a human cow, cursed to produce milk and endlessly hunger for yang energy. Mingjue is trying to make sure his younger brother doesn’t end up the same way. “Why are you trying to make me a strong cultivator da-ge? I’m just a stupid cow. Let me enjoy life while I still can.” Huaisang argues. Unfortunately Huaisang is right in the end and despite his best efforts, Mingjue can’t stave off the inevitable.
