Summary
After months upon seemingly years in a hell scape of what feels like his own design, where Jayce had to confront the man he used to call his partner again and again at his worst, where Viktor was all but a man anymore, Jayce is sent back to his time before the nightmare all began. A time where he had to walk through Viktor's commune and face a peaceful Viktor in the eyes, only to take the final shot and possibly end it, once and for all, before the storm's approach. Only. It's not as easy as it seems. For this man he had been obligated to destroy is, or was still, his partner, his best friend, and if there is one thing that will not go down easily, it is having your beloved's blood, staining your hands.

Summary
A series of drabbles and vignettes written from the inner and outer perspective of Viktor and those around him be it faces old and new- exploring flickers in his life from childhood to triumphs and hardships as he went from a scientific pioneer unseen lingering by the Kindred's bow and jaw, to a mechanical being considered otherwise beloathed and disregarded- with no context as to who the man behind the mask really is, away from all the flanderised rumours and misconceptions of old that has come to taint the minds of some within the city. Safe for a very few who knows or once knew who he truly is, and those that do, but came to fear what he became anyways.

This was written for Viktober 2024 in honour of our favourite Mechanical man/Menace To Society in the best of ways.
Each chapter is based off of a different prompt and was originally meant to be posted on a different day but alas due to self esteem I lagged behind originally.

Summary
"He couldn’t help but stifle another soft laugh as Satya exclaimed with an exasperated sigh and the wave of a hand as she uttered irritably in Hindi. His soft brown eyes gazing over to warmly regard his friend, watching Satya roll her eyes playfully as she threw out her hands. Until her face, graceful and kind even in her sternness morphed into a different face entirely. The old memory of their time in the Academy falling away like shredded paper as he felt himself almost wilt away in size. Until he was taken back to when he was a child again, small and alone, huddled into himself in shame on the couch back in the cold, bright and ostentatious yet lifeless interior of his old family home. Sat up in front of his father again, forcing his child body to huddle out and straighten up to regard him after the older man sent his other two siblings out of the room, the pair further herded out by their mother until it was just Niran and his father alone...."
A sequence of dreams melded into memories take Niran through a few flickers of the past, one of the last moments with an old and by then, only friend, and one of the many memories of home he'd rather forget.

Summary
In an attempt to break off from the Emperor's Coven and the other Coven heads for a bit, and clear their mind of a series of haunting memories of an old friend following a distressing broadcast. A mysterious bard escapes into the rural expanses of the Boiling Isles in order to plan a rebellion in secret and in peace away from the Emperor's influence. Only to find the town they've come to, to not be the most hospitable of places, but a place haunted by a tragic history of its own, linked to the very power they are reluctantly serving, and none of the residents are happy about it. Leaving the bard completely alone in a foreign place that is nothing but suspicious of them, at least until they ended up a friend, of another fellow member of their coven. A lively presence with express intentions of causing a rebellion of his own, secret or not.

Summary
It was a rainy day when Eda found her. A young child of one years old or so lost in the woods following a tragic hiking accident that left her stranded and her parents presumably no where to be found. Yet despite originally planning to take the young girl in just for one night, little did she know, that young girl was going to stay much, much longer than that. Raised by Eda alone in a world completely different to her own. Though despite having grown up with a freedom very little of her peers had on the Isles, even under the sheltered wing of her mentor, she still felt lost, out of place compared to the magical beings around her. Yet one day, while experimenting around with her mentor's belongings. She finally discovers a world that had the answers to where she truly came from. All while her real mother weeps for loss of her missing daughter, searching and still holding up hope that they shall one day be reunited.
