Steve left Bucky.
Don't get Bucky wrong- he loves Steve still and knows why he left. He's happy. He gets to live his life out and Bucky can stay here. It's just how it is. Steve is happy and Bucky isn't. That's okay, isn't it? It gets better eventually, it always does.
He just needs to figure out how to live for another year.

Summary
This is going to be more in character depth analysis. None of this will be accurate to the show in terms of relationships or how they began. This is basically my imagination on how relationships, platonic or otherwise, will have begun, and will probably be a whole lot more hurt and comfort in as I don't know how to not write hurt/comfort. The first few chapters will be the largest as it bleeds into the actual canon content, but after that I don't know how large they'll be.
So, warning to those that might take an interest in this story. I am so sorry that the into is so long, and when the tags say slow build, I really do mean that as I've only just started to lead onto canon BBC Sherlock, and I am so sorry for that.
The tags will be updated as I continue, as I have no outward idea for this, I'm just writing until I run out of ideas.
