"What, ‘Jinx’?" she teased. "I’ve held up my end of the deal, so now it’s your turn! Answer me, and then we can quickly go to bed… to sleep," she added with an exaggerated emphasis, her mischievous grin widening. "Because I’m really tired."
"I didn’t think about it like this at first. I just wanted to save a friend because I saw what you could be... But now… Damn it, I didn’t know the package deal came with Zaun’s hero who has a good heart and a great ass." He groaned dramatically. "And now you’ve completely taken over all my thoughts."
"Ugh, so boring and overly dramatic," Jinx interjected, waving her hand dismissively. "Just say, ‘I love you, Jinx,’ and all this—" she gestured wildly to herself, "—becomes yours. Easy."
Ekko opened his mouth to argue, to tell her how infuriating and ridiculous she was, to call her a "crazy little girl." But instead, he stared at her for a moment, his lips twitching into a small smirk before he caved."I love you, Jinx."
Her eyes lit up like fireworks, and a wicked grin spread across her face. She yanked him closer by the collar of his shirt.
"Good answer," she purred mischievously. "Now come here, space boy. Let me corrupt you properly."
