    Jayce is good at a lot of things. He's talented in the forge, at metallurgy, particularly skilled in thermodynamics and closed-systems problems. He's considerate and motivated. He makes a mean cup of coffee and sweetmilk. In many ways, he's the ideal co-worker and friend.

    But Jayce is very bad at taking care of himself.

    This quickly becomes Viktor's problem.

    Or: a dom/subverse fic in which Jayce is a particularly sensitive submissive that has struggled to find a partner due to his large stature and demeanor. Viktor offers to help him self-regulate. Chaos and miscommunication ensues.

    How is Eri able to forgive him, to look at him like he’s a hero, when he failed her so badly for so long? If he had been stronger, faster, better with his quirk, he would have been able to get her out of their faster, save her right when she first ran into him instead of so much later. Sir Nighteye was right about him not deserving—

    Problem Child? comes Aizawa-sensei’s voice. He sounds tired and a bit irritated, as always, but beneath that there’s a layer of sheer incredulity.

    Problem Child? his voice comes again. This time Izuku finally recognizes where it’s coming from— his own head. He can feel a sharp, painful jolt of panic physically stabbing through his chest, and he can’t help but bite back an emphatic shit.

    Or: While visiting Eri at the hospital following her rescue from the Shie Hassaikai, Izuku and Aizawa-sensei both run into a nurse with a telepathy based quirk, and Izuku finds himself in a telepathic bond with his teacher. This is... somewhat worrying, considering how many secrets Izuku needs to keep.

    Midoriya Izuku was diagnosed as quirkless when he was four. He lost his friends and his teachers didn’t like him anymore. Only it turns out he wasn't quirkless.

    After stress manifesting a quirk Izuku ends up living in the woods, stuck in his quirk with no way to try and ask for help. He's there alone, at least he is until Eraserhead finds him.

    Or in which Midoriya is stuck in his quirk and ends up getting adopted by Eraserhead and Present Mic.

    Hizashi knew that something was wrong with Midoriya from the minute the little listener joined his class. By the time he solved the mystery and saved Midoriya from a genuine nightmare, all that he can do is do his best to pick up the pieces.

    Fortunately, he and his husband should be more than up for the challenge.
