The abyss prince asked conversationally. Aether then went to nibble his ear, letting the knight hear how wet his breath and how feral and insane Kaeya made him feel.
“Are you happy, living like…” Aether’s words died in his throat. Living like a prisoner, living in somewhere you don’t belong? went unsaid. Somehow, the idea of Kaeya might have felt a sense of belonging to somewhere he shouldn’t have belonged, unnerved and upset Aether, more than if the man had only felt like he did not belong.
“…living like this?” he asked instead, something that Aether’s mind refused to classify as desperation seeping through his tone.
“Are you happy, Kaeya?”

im bad at summaries pls give my story a chance bro... ʕ̡̢̡ʘ̅͟͜͡ʘ̲̅ʔ̢̡̢A story in which Diluc and Kaeya get trapped in a cave and are at each other's throat. They encounter a mysterious creature called system 069, which tries to help the two stuck men find a way out of the cave. However, 069 soon realises that choosing Diluc and Kaeya as its masters was perhaps the dumbest decision it could have ever made!
