So, imagine moving to a new town and just hoping to live my best independent girlie life. You know, new me, new vibes maybe a sprinkle of self-discovery like every TikTok guru keeps hyping.
But life, being the cosmic comedian it is, decided to rail me sideways and not even the fun kind. I was prepped for the usual crap like overpriced rent, part-time job misery, existential dread over university homework, my mom’s “you’re throwing your life away” rants. Real fun stuff.
Instead, I find a demon squatting in my storage unit. Because, of course.
Am I scared shitless? Oh, abso-fucking-lutely out of my mind.
Am I also... weirdly into it? Yeah, let's not unpack that hot mess.

I glance down at the figure responsible for my current predicament—kneeling between my legs, a knife pressed lightly against my sternum, smiling infuriatingly.
"I should have known."
"I figured you liked surprises."
"The only surprises I enjoy involve freshly dug graves and uninvited mourners. This is decidedly less satisfying."
The blade pressed a fraction deeper against my neck, just enough to draw blood. I hissed as it nicked the skin, but my eyes never strayed from hers.
She leaned in, breath warm against my cheek as she whispered, "We can arrange that." Her smile widened as she flicked her tongue across the small bead of blood on the wound she’d just made.
It burned. It ached. And in that moment, I had never felt more awake. Her grin only deepened, fueling me and the desire to wrap my hands around her throat and squeeze, just to see what would happen next.

Saturday afternoons were meant to be enjoyed in quiet, peaceful, dead silence. At least, according to Wednesday Addams. But alas it wasn’t fated to be because the Dark Prom was only 2 weeks away. Every student of Nevermore was to attend this Gala with a partner of their own choice. Wednesday despised any and every kind of social gathering and avoided them like the plague. Not only was she forced to attend, she couldn’t even choose her own partner even though she would rather stab herself or throw her dance partner in a vat of acid, but that was another thought for another time.

When Diana looked, she saw the corpse licking up her blood. Its tongue slithered out to inhuman lengths as it eerily moved while shackled. Energy seemed to radiate from it as the air began to thicken. The corpse stood up, shredding through its bindings. Pale skin. Black robes. Brown, long hair. White symboled gloves. Most importantly, however, were the cold, red eyes. Eyes that drilled evil will into minds, eyes that glowed crimson as the corpse glared towards Diana. Between nearly getting killed by her aunt and now, fear petrified Diana.
“That hit the spot. Thanks! I’m Atsuko Kagari, but you can call me Akko!”
And just like that, the image was broken.
“Now, I see you fuckers are trying to kill my master. That’s not gonna stand.”Complete...for now.
