“Thanks for the save, Hood,” Jason grumbles, pushing himself up from his knee with a muffled grunt. “Thanks for taking the hit for me, you’re so kind.” His ankle still isn’t feeling super secure–who woulda guessed, being smashed by a crowbar and thrown in a magic rage pit isn’t conducive to bone integrity—so he doesn’t turn around yet. He tests his weight on his ankle, not wanting it to give out again.
