Summary
Being blessed with front seats to Ensemble Square's most captivating, and also slowly developing, romance is how Aira perceives his situation. He's aware he might have been slightly influenced by the amount of material tagged 'for those who can forgive anything' he has read ever since he started following the trajectories of the original fine's members. And maybe contributed to. Possibly.
Look, it's not like Aira is feverishly invested in this, or like he's been arguing online about how Hakaze Kaoru is obviously a heterosexual and that he and Sakuma Rei are just friends and that if you are really set on inter-UNDEAD pairings you would definitely have to look to Rei and Koga instead. Or well, at least not lately. Not a single clandestine line has left white_swan2007's feather ever since his move, partly because if one of his roommates were to look over his shoulder he would probably be swallowed up by the earth out of shame instantaneously, but also because it's just like, a weird thing to do, imagining your boss being split in half by your shared roommate.

All Goro Akechi wanted was to be a well-respected detective. If that meant enduring a slew of meaningless fluff cases assigned by the higher-ups, so be it. If it meant spending his free time chasing after baseless rumors about a high school gang of self-described "social reformers", fine.
Except the rumors aren't so baseless after all, and as he attempts to catch these 'Phantom Thieves' in an actual, documented act of wrongdoing, he finds himself becoming entangled with the gang more deeply than he ever intended - all thanks to their leader, who decided to take a special interest in him.
