It was a strange feeling to know that nobody would check on him, not unless he were the one to reach out.
His mind was quiet. He observed his surroundings, waiting for a time opportune enough for minimal witnesses. It wouldn't particularly be a pleasant sight...
Despite hiding himself from watchful eyes, the same could not be said for his shoes. They would be visible as soon as somebody would enter.
Just in case anyone thought his message wasn't clear. Or maybe it was a warning to any that approached, telling them that they could spot quite the gruesome sight if they weren't careful.
