Summary
Sawamura knows a lot about Miyuki. He knows Miyuki sleeps with two blankets, that he religiously brushes his teeth after every meal, that Miyuki grew up mostly alone, his mom gone and his dad too busy. He knows that Miyuki’s sharp humor means affection, that his teasing means he’s defending himself, that Miyuki hates sweets and that he picks the breading off his tonkatsu.
He knows Miyuki loves coffee, knows that he’s an amazing cook, knows that he has nightmares and that a simple hand on his back before he wakes up will help him through it.
He’d thought about Miyuki here and there over the years. Wondering how he’d grown up, if he’d ever made another friend beyond Sawamura and Kuramochi. If anyone was sleeping next to him at night, helping him through his nightmares.
Sawamura isn’t surprised by the Miyuki’s he’s found himself with. Twenty-eight, a little bitter, still alone. Just as funny, just as handsome, just as hardworking.
Sawamura and Miyuki meet again after ten years.

Summary
“Miyuki?” Sawamura blinks up at him, making Kazuya more conscious of their height difference. Eyes trailing down to his neck, the pastel-colored collar of the shop’s uniform peeks out of his oversized sweater that falls until his mid-thigh, with the sleeves covering up his whole hands.
Sweater paws, Kazuya’s mind shuts down as tiny Kazuyas inside his brain run in circles, screaming “ABORT! ABORT!” with high-pitched voices. He’s fucking wearing sweater paws.
Miyuki Kazuya finds himself becoming a regular customer in a local ice cream shop after meeting Kuramochi’s cute co-worker. Sounds normal—unless you leave out the fact that he dislikes sweets.
